Zuccolo Family Collection
This collection holds 41 photos showing scenes of Thomas Zuccolo's life on Saturna as well as his relatives that came to stay. Mr. Zuccolo's time on Saturna began in 1934 and ended by 1947. He built a home on the north side of the island. The chimney from his home still stands by the Group of 30's Shore House. He also had plans of opening a fishing lodge, but it was never finished.
Please visit the "Saturna Island Photo Album" group on Facebook or search for Neal Putt's posts on the Saturna Forum to learn more about some of the photos in this collection and stories of Thomas's life during this time.
Many thanks to Keith and Neal Putt for providing us with these photos and stories of Saturna's history!
